Calvados Gilbert is a historic apple brandy brand from the Normandy region of France, founded in 1937 by René Gilbert. Today, the brand operates under the new name Domaine du Coquerel or Calvados Coquerel.
Calvados is a spirit distilled from apple cider (cidre) and aged in oak barrels for several years. Calvados Gilbert is known for its smooth style, naturally sweet apple aroma, and complex flavors of vanilla, caramel, oak, and subtle spices.

Harvesting dozens of local varieties of apples and pears.
Natural fermentation over several months to produce cider (cidre).
Distillation using traditional copper pot stills.
Aging in oak barrels from 3 to over 10 years, depending on the Calvados expression.
